Please join Dennis Conservation Trust and the Town of Dennis Department of Natural Resources for a land steward information session and get-together at the Dennis Public Library on March 29 from 6-7 PM!
What is a land steward?
Land stewards are volunteers who visit local conservation properties to monitor use, environmental changes, boundaries, and trail conditions. Land stewards also participate in volunteer work projects for natural resources and recreational improvements to conservation land. There is likely a conservation area near you that needs to be adopted for a little extra care and attention!
We will give a presentation and then you will have an opportunity to sign up to volunteer in an area of interest to you, as well as mingle with other current stewards.
