SUMMARY:Organic Lawn Essentials: Saving Our Sandbar One Yard at a Time
DESCRIPTION:Join us August 27th\, 6pm-7:30pm at DCLT HQ for an organic gardening workshop with Jamie Dekes “Dekes” of Inspired Organics. \nDekes has been heavily involved in organic land and plant management since 2004 working at a Garden Center\, landscaping companies\, and running his own organic lawn business. After his puppy was poisoned running through a lawn that had been treated with a well known synthetic fertilizer\, he made it his responsibility to teach people about the dangers of traditional fertilizer structures and show them an easier more sustainable and affordable way. \nZekes is accredited by the North East Organic Farming Association (NOFA) and started his mission of Saving Our Sandbar One Yard at a Time with the mantra of “when you start dealing with the problems instead of the symptoms you can attain beautiful and long lasting results!” \nRSVP here.
