SUMMARY:Vernal Pool Event with Audubon Naturalist Ian Ives
DESCRIPTION:It is officially vernal pool season\, so come join us for about an hour on Saturday\, April 4th at 10 am at one of Dennis’s most special pools with Audubon Naturalist Ian Ives! \nIan Ives is the Manager at Mass Audubon’s Long Pasture\, Ashumet\, Barnstable Great Marsh and Skunknett River Wildlife Sanctuaries on Cape Cod. We will have nets\, buckets\, and more\, to explore the critters we might find at this special habitat. Rubber boots or other waterproof footwear is recommended. The location of the pool will be shared upon registration. \nThis event will be capped at 20 registrants. \nMore information about the location will be sent by email 12-24 hours before the event. \nRSVP here!\n\nPSA Vernal pools are sensitive habitats so attendance will be capped off at 20 people\, so register while there is space.\n\nLearn more about our Community Biodiversity Initiative working with and for vernal pools here.
