10/14/2024: Yesterday we wrapped up our 2024 Home Grown Tour series with a lovely visit to Seawind Meadows Farm. Over the course of this tour series, we had the privilege of visiting five extraordinary local farms: Hokum Rock Blueberry Farm, A.R.C., East Dennis Oyster Farm, Seawind Meadows Farm, and our very own Not Enough Acres Farm. Each stop on our tour not only gave us a deeper appreciation for the land and sea but also highlighted the hard work and dedication of our local farmers.
For us, the series underscored that conservation is not limited to land trusts or protected spaces—it extends to the farmers who care deeply for the land and sea that sustains them. Please consider supporting local farmers, and in particular, these farmers who so graciously agreed to lead tours for our membership.
