Come and join us Friday the 13th, 8am-10am for a birding adventure with naturalists MJ Foti and Dann Jung at the Princess Beach Conservation Area followed by a quick hop to Corporation Beach to see the many species of waterfowl and sea ducks that are streaming to our coastline to overwinter on our shores.

The meetup is at Princess Beach located on Scargo Hill Road between Erb Drive and Paddocks Path. A small beach located on freshwater Scargo Lake, Princess Beach Conservation Area also includes a walking trail that loops through lichen-strewn woodlands. Afterwards, we can take the short drive to Corporation Beach where we’ll find a nice variety of seaducks, such as Common Eiders, scoters, mergansers and possibly Harlequin Duck.

Last month when we were here, we saw a rare sighting of a Redhead duck! So exciting.
