The herring are back! Join us on Friday May 1st at 5:00pm at the DCLT headquarters to learn about these local legends. Brad Chase from the MA Division of Marine Fisheries will lead us down one of our next door herring runs, teaching us about what makes these fish so special.
Brad Chase is the Diadromous Fish Project Leader for the MA Division of Marine Fisheries. He is the Massachusetts representative on the technical committees of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission on American Eel, River Herring, American Shad and Fish Passage. Brad is a Harwich native who has worked on monitoring, management and restoration efforts for DMF for sea-run fish for over 30 years.
