Back in October, Peter Jensen of Terra Firma Permagardens taught us about building “biointensive double-dug garden beds.” This method may sound like a mouthful, but it’s actually a really simple way to improve your soil and grow an abundance of healthy crops…even in a small backyard!
On Thursday, May 7 at 3pm, Peter will be back for a workshop about how you can plant “intensively” in these beds–that is maximize space to grow the most veggies! Join us at Not Enough Acres Farm for the fun.

About Peter:
Peter has been working for over 30 years in agroecological extension education and outreach support with a variety of international organizations in Africa, Asia and The Americas. Peter developed the Terra Firma method as a low risk decision-making and action-taking process that can easily reach even the world’s most marginalized populations, engaging them as ecosystem allies rather than enemies, thus allowing ecosystem rehabilitation and family food security to become co-equal partners in community and ecosystem growth and empowerment.
