Join in welcoming the growing season with a tour of the Cape Abilities Farm in Dennis. Sponsored by Harwich Conservation Trust (HCT), and Dennis Conservation Land Trust (DCLT) and Cape Abilities, tour the Cape Abilities Farm on Route 6A on Saturday, June 8th (8:30 to 9:30 a.m.) with James Barnes, Director of Social Enterprise with Cape Abilities. Since 2006, Cape Abilities Farm has been providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities while also acting as a hub in the Cape Cod community to promote local sustainable farming. The farm provides fresh, pesticide-free produce and flowers to the public through two Cape Abilities stores, farmers’ markets, restaurants, and local food pantries. Cost is $10 per person with proceeds benefiting HCT, DCLT, and Cape Abilities.
