Event Series: Farm Stroll

The Dennis Conservation Land Trust’s Home Grown Farm Tour series invites curious locals and seasonal visitors the opportunity to step behind farm doors to meet the people who grow food, fiber, and seafood from the land and sea, and to witness the intimate rhythms of a working farm.

From oyster farms to regenerative farm fields yielding fresh produce and flowers, the series doesn’t just showcase Dennis farms, it reveals the hands, hearts, and stories behind it. Think of it as a guided stroll through the town’s living pantry, where every turn offers a taste of connection, history, and a renewed appreciation for where our food comes from.

Join us May 1st, 5pm-6:30pm at the Aquacultural Research Corporation (A.R.C.) in Dennis!

A.R.C. is the largest commercial shellfish hatchery in Massachusetts, spawning millions of juvenile clams and oysters for farmers, municipalities and non-profits groups. Founded in 1960, A.R.C. employs over 25 people at the facility behind Chapin Beach and supports over 1300 jobs in the state. The tour will travel From Spawn to Table, highlighting the hatchery, algae and farming operations.

The tour is about 1-1.5 hours in length.

RSVP opens on April 14th! Members Free, Non-Members $20
