10/21/2024: Thanks to all who attended our 36th Annual Meeting this past Wednesday at The Dennis Inn.

At the meeting, we thanked our outgoing Trustees, Dorria DiManno and Dianne Callan. Dorria and Dianne have been long-serving Trustees and have decided to continue serving on the Communications and Compliance Committees, respectively.

We elected John Bujalski and Sarah Rothermel to the Board of Trustees. John is a retired veterinarian and has been actively involved in the Membership and Community Science Committees while serving on the Advisory Board. Sarah had a successful career as a corporate attorney for WilmerHale. She serves on DCLT’s Communications Committee and further serves on the Board of the Sesuit Neck Property Owners Association.

The Trust honored some of those recently lost, including long-serving Trustee Paul Prue and long-time supporters Natalie Chase and Peter McDowell. A large part of who they were was ensuring the wellbeing of Dennis. Their dedication and support will be greatly missed.

We further honored three volunteers for their exceptional service this past year, Volunteer of the Year Betsy Perry and Stewards of the Year Lori Everett and Jeff O’Brien.

Finally, we re-elected Paul McCormick as a Trustee and elected Rachel Kossack as a new Advisory Board member. Rachel is a member of the Kossack family who owns Hart Farm, a long-time business supporter of The Trust. Rachel volunteers at the annual Auction and in her expanded role will serve on the Events Committee.

Congratulations and thanks are due all around. With such an awesome and growing team, we can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for us!
