Join DCLT and The da Vinci Pursuit for Art-Science Walks for this 2024 season.
Combining art with nature has several benefits and purposes. It is a is as versatile and individualistic practice, with potential benefits that can vary from person to person.
Things Are Looking Up: What’s Up There?
Often, we fail to look up and explore what is above us when we are out walking in nature. In this walk we will practice the skill of observation in the tree canopy above us. We will use drawings, photos, and words to explore the natural world over our heads. Nature can be observed at many levels and the canopy and sky above allows us to see new possibilities.
