Welcome to Karina Zimmerman and Avalon Swanson who just completed their sophomore years at Wellesley College and begin their virtual summer internships at DCLT on June 15th!
We are so pleased to have them for eight weeks this summer assisting us on a variety of projects – writing grant proposals, posting social media updates, and researching articles for our fall 2021 newsletter. They are both participating in the Wellesley Lumpkin Summer Institute for Service Learning Program which pairs students with nonprofit organizations to gain professional experience in the social service sector, primarily within Massachusetts.
